SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Barbara Jean "Barb" Piggott, who passed 
4away on May 16, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Barbara Piggott was born in Chicago to Michael and 
6Mary (Dubick) Saczawski on December 10, 1941; she married 
7Robert J. Piggott in Chicago on April 20, 1963; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Barbara Piggott was an employee of Pioneer Center, 
9where she worked with disabled adults for 18 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Barbara Piggott loved going out with her 
11girlfriends, and enjoyed vacationing with her family in the 
12Wisconsin Dells; she was a talented cook and enjoyed hosting 
13her family and friends; above all, she adored being a loving 
14grandmother to her cherished grandchildren; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Barbara Piggott was preceded in death by her 
16parents and her son, Robert M. Piggott; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Barbara Piggott is survived by her husband of 54 
18years, Robert; her son, Jonathan (Heather) Piggott; her 
19grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., Taylor, Carson, and Cade; and her 
20brother, Michael (Patricia) Saczawski; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Barbara Jean "Barb" Piggott, and extend our sincere condolences 
4to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Barbara Piggott as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
