2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Della Imogene Kinser of Greenfield, who |
4 | | passed away on May 9, 2017; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Della Kinser was born in Greene County to John |
6 | | Harley and Ida Irene (Bowers) Allen on February 29, 1932; she |
7 | | married Guy O. Kinser Jr. at the Rockbridge Baptist Church in |
8 | | Rockbridge on December 9, 1951; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Della Kinser was a Brownie Scout Leader, 4-H |
10 | | Leader, an election judge, and a member of the Illinois Pork |
11 | | Producers Association; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Della Kinser was a member of St. Michael's |
13 | | Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Group, |
14 | | the Catholic Daughters of America, and taught catechism |
15 | | classes; she also enjoyed crafts, sewing, and gardening; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Della Kinser was preceded in death by her parents; |
17 | | her sisters, Rosemary Rives, Lucy Ridder, and Elizabeth Allen; |
18 | | her brothers, William and Edgar Allen; and her grandson, |
19 | | Quinten Kinser; and
|
20 | | WHEREAS, Della Kinser is survived by her husband, Guy; her |

14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
15 | | Della Imogene Kinser, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
16 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
17 | | further

18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
19 | | presented to the family of Della Kinser as an expression of our |
20 | | deepest sympathy.
