SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for probation reimbursements and training for probation officers, with regard to pre-trial services and other operational expenses in support of bail reform for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018. Appropriates $7,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for probation reimbursements and training for probation officers, with regard to pre-trial services and other operational expenses in support of bail reform for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to other sums appropriated, the sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for probation reimbursements and training for probation officers, with regard to pre-trial services and other operational expenses in support of bail reform for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.
Section 10. In addition to other sums appropriated, the sum of $7,500,000, or so much there of as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for probation reimbursements and training for probation officers, with regard to pre-trial services and other operational expenses in support of bail reform for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
