If Whenever the Commission receives notice from |

13 | | under this Act to do business in Illinois because that company

14 | | has not paid a franchise tax, license fee , filing fee, or |

Business Corporation Act of 1983 |
2 | | or under any other Illinois statute governing the formation or |
3 | | organization of domestic or foreign corporations, limited |

5 | | organizations , approved January 5, 1984, as amended ,
then the |
6 | | Commission shall institute proceedings for the revocation of |
7 | | the
franchise, license, permit , or right to engage in any |
8 | | business required
under this Act shall be suspended by |
9 | | operation of law or the suspension thereof until such time |
10 | | within a one-year period after the date of suspension as the |
11 | | delinquent
franchise tax, license fee , filing fee, or penalty |
12 | | is paid and revoked by operation of law for failure to pay the |
13 | | delinquent franchise tax, license fee, filing fee, or penalty |
14 | | within the one-year suspension period .

Every public utility shall file with the |

accident occurring to or on |
2 | | its plant, equipment, or other property of such
a nature to |
3 | | endanger the safety, health or property of any person. Whenever

4 | | any accident occasions the loss of life or limb to any person, |
5 | | such public
utility shall immediately give notice to the |
6 | | Commission of the fact by the
speediest means of communication, |
7 | | whether telephone, electronic notification, telegraph or post.
|
8 | | The Commission
shall investigate all accidents occurring |
9 | | within this
State upon the property of any public utility or |
10 | | directly or indirectly
arising from or connected with its |
11 | | maintenance or operation, resulting in
loss of life or injury |
12 | | to person or property and requiring, in the judgment
of the |
13 | | Commission, investigation by it, and shall have the power to |
14 | | make
such order or recommendation with respect thereto as in |
15 | | its judgment may
seem just and reasonable. Neither the order or |
16 | | recommendation of the
Commission nor any accident report filed |
17 | | with the Commission shall be
admitted in evidence in any action |
18 | | for damages based on or arising out of
the loss of life, or |
19 | | injury to person or property, in this Section referred
to.
