| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Livestock Dealer Licensing Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 17 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (225 ILCS 645/17) (from Ch. 111, par. 417)

| 7 | | Sec. 17.
Each licensee shall maintain records of each |
| 8 | | purchase under this
Act including identification of livestock |
| 9 | | purchased, the
the name and address
of the seller, and the date |
| 10 | | of purchase, and a record of each sale,
including date, buyer, |
| 11 | | number and identification of animals. All reports
of sales of |
| 12 | | female feeder cattle must be mailed to the
Department weekly on
|
| 13 | | forms furnished by the Department. |
| 14 | | These records along with any accompanying health |
| 15 | | certificates shall be
maintained for a period of 3 years.
