Title: An Act to promote the public health, welfare and safety of the People of the State of Illinois by preventing unlawful discrimination in employment, real property transactions, access to financial credit, and public accommodations, by authorizing the creation of a Department of Human Rights to enforce, and a Human Rights Commission to adjudicate, allegations of unlawful discrimination, and by making uniform the law with reference to unlawful discrimination through the addition, amendment and repeal of various Acts.
