SECTION 4510.30 DEFINITIONS
Section 4510.30 Definitions
"Carrier" means an insurer or health maintenance organization issuing Child Only Plans.
"Child Only Plan" means renewable individual health insurance coverage (as defined in 42 USC 300gg-91) issued with an effective date on or after September 23, 2010 that provides coverage to an individual under the age of 19. This shall not include individual health insurance coverage that covers children under age 19 as dependents.
"Person" means a person under the age of 19.
"Qualifying Event" means an event described in Section 4510.40(d) that triggers a special enrollment opportunity for a person to enroll in a Child Only Plan.
