Flora of Illinois

endangered or threatened plant species and subspecies have been automatically
placed on the Illinois List by the Board and are protected under the Illinois
Endangered Species Protection Act even though their names do not appear in this
Part. Only those federally designated endangered or threatened plant species
and subspecies known to occur in Illinois are designated as Illinois-endangered
or Illinois-threatened by the Board and their names appear in this Part. Users
should refer to the US Fish and Wildlife Service at www.fws.gov/endangered/ for
a complete listing of all federally designated endangered and threatened
species and subspecies.
