AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Transportation Law of the |
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding |
Section 2705-626 as follows:

Sec. 2705-626. Studies; surveys; local government |
construction projects. Unless prohibited by any State or |
federal statutory confidentiality restrictions, upon request |
by a unit of local government, the Department shall make |
available any study or survey completed by the Department that |
concerns traffic or the environmental impact on road |
construction projects. Except as otherwise provided, a study |
or survey conducted by the Department may be substituted for a |
study or survey required by a unit of local government for |
construction projects affecting a portion of a State |
right-of-way. |
