AN ACT concerning local government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Soil and Water Conservation Districts Act |
is amended by adding Section 22.13 as follows:

(70 ILCS 405/22.13 new) |
Sec. 22.13. District use of sign posts or poles for signs. |
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a district may |
request that the Department of Transportation install a sign |
related to the district on an existing or new Department sign |
post or pole in a public right-of-way. The Department must |
manufacture and install the sign. The district must reimburse |
the Department only for the reasonable cost of manufacturing |
the sign.
